What you can look up

Search for a procedure, open a guide with steps, requirements and sources, or browse the available topics. Ask in English or Spanish and specify a state when needed.

• buscar_tramite: finds up to three guides related to your query.
• ver_guia: opens a guide and its sources with access dates.
• listar_temas: lists topics and published guides.

These are read-only tools. They do not carry out procedures, access personal records or provide legal or tax advice. If no suitable guide is available, they say so.

México Responde is an independent guide, not a government website. Confirm requirements, fees and deadlines with the linked official source.

How to connect

In an assistant that supports remote MCP servers, open the connector or app settings and add this URL:

https://mexicoresponde.com.mx/mcp

The server provides public information and does not require a México Responde account. Adding it depends on your assistant’s plan and permissions. Directory listings are pending.

Try “fmm tourist card” or “temporary residency requirements”.

What data it uses

The assistant sends your query to our server, along with the language of your question and, if provided, the state, to search the published guides.

We only store anonymous daily counts by tool, language and returned guide. We never store the query text, IP address or personal data. The IP address is used only as an ephemeral key for rate limiting; it is not stored.

Do not send personal data. Your conversation with the assistant is also covered by that service’s privacy policy.
